Dr. Anita Sadeghpour is a Professor of Cardiology with 18 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of simple and complex heart diseases in a large, tertiary academic center ...with a high volume referral of patients. She has been an integral part of the structural heart disease program, adult congenital heart disease clinic, Heart team, Endocarditis team.

During these years, she has participated in many research projects with more than 100 original peer-review publications predominantly in the field of Cardiology, advanced echocardiography, cardiac imaging, valvular heart disease and infective endocarditis.
She has had participated in many international committees and served as principal investigator in national and international studies such as the Iranian Registry of Endocarditis, Euro-Endo registry, and WASE study besides being the first fellow of the American Society of echocardiography in Iran and member of the ACC Middle East steering committee for ten years.

She is the first editor of the two international textbooks (Case-based Textbook of Echocardiography 2018 and Comprehensive Approach to Adult Congenital Heart Disease 2014 by Springer ) besides contributors and co-author of some other international echocardiography and cardiology books.

She has been involved in the ACC, AHA, and ASE committees as the panelist, lecturer with more than 20 international lectures, and reviewer of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) Task Forces and Guidelines Committee. She is particularly interested in the epidemiology and diversity of Infective endocarditis between the countries and regions. congratulation Best Researcher Award by pencis.
