🎓EARLY ACADEMIC PURSUITS:
Prof. Menghua Xiong began his academic journey in September 2003 at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), where he earned his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Polymer Science and Engineering in July 2007. He continued his studies at USTC, completing a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering under the guidance of Prof. Jun Wang from September 2007 to June 2013.
🏫PROFESSIONAL ENDEAVORS:
After completing his doctoral studies, Prof. Xiong pursued postdoctoral research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) from July 2013 to December 2017. During this period, he worked in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering under the mentorship of Prof. Jianjun Cheng, gaining valuable experience in materials science and engineering. In January 2018, Prof. Xiong joined the School of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering at the Guangzhou International Campus of South China University of Technology as a professor, where he currently holds a faculty position.
