Introduction

Cardiovascular research encompasses scientific investigation into the mechanisms, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases affecting the heart and vascular system. Researchers in this field contribute through experimental studies, clinical investigations, translational research, and interdisciplinary approaches. Academic recognition commonly considers the quality and relevance of research together with evidence of scholarly productivity and influence. [2]

Research Profile

Cedric Duval is identified in the supplied information as being affiliated with the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. The stated research subject area is cardiovascular research. The associated Scopus Author ID is 55941091300, while the supplied ORCID identifier is 0000-0002-4870-6542. Persistent researcher identifiers help distinguish scholarly records and support accurate attribution of publications across academic information systems. [1] [3]

Research Contributions

The available profile data indicate a sustained body of scholarly output, represented by 43 documents and substantial citation activity. Within cardiovascular research, contributions may be evaluated according to originality, methodological quality, scientific relevance, reproducibility, and potential clinical significance. The supplied bibliometric information provides quantitative context, while publication-level analysis would be required to establish the specific scientific findings and contributions associated with individual works. [1]

The supplied information attributes 43 documents to the researcher profile. This page does not assign individual article titles, journals, publication dates, or research findings that were not provided in the source information. The Scopus Author ID supplied for this profile can be used to review the indexed publication record, including documents, citations, co-authorship, subject classifications, and related bibliometric information. [1]

Research Impact

The supplied citation count of 1,556 and h-index of 21 indicate measurable visibility within the indexed scholarly record. Citation indicators can assist in describing research influence, although they should be interpreted alongside publication quality, field-specific citation practices, authorship contribution, and publication age. Accordingly, bibliometric measures are most appropriately treated as complementary evidence within a broader academic evaluation rather than as an independent measure of research quality. [1]

Award Suitability

Based on the supplied profile, Cedric Duval demonstrates characteristics relevant to consideration for a Best Researcher Award in cardiovascular research, including documented scholarly output, citation activity, and a stated specialization aligned with cardiovascular science. The reported 43 documents, 1,556 citations, and h-index of 21 provide quantitative evidence for consideration. Final award eligibility and selection should be determined according to the official criteria, verification procedures, and evaluation process established by the organizing body. [1] [4]

Conclusion

Cedric Duval is presented as a cardiovascular research scholar affiliated with the University of Leeds. The supplied bibliometric information records 43 documents, 1,556 citations, and an h-index of 21, providing a concise quantitative profile of scholarly activity. These indicators support consideration within an academic recognition framework, while a complete assessment should incorporate publication quality, research originality, contribution to cardiovascular science, and independently verified evidence.
