Dr. Dae Wook Lee is a senior medical leader serving as Head of Medical Portfolio Management for Rare Disease, Gastroenterology, Plasma-Derived Therapies, Neuroscience, and New Molecular Entities across the Asia-Pacific region at Takeda Pharmaceutical Ltd Pte. With a strong academic foundation that includes a medical degree from the University of Warwick and advanced training in genetic epidemiology and biomedical science, he brings a rigorous scientific perspective to therapeutic development and strategic medical affairs. His clinical research interests center on the genetic underpinnings and innovative analytical approaches relevant to rare diseases, spanning rare hematologic conditions, metabolic disorders such as Fabry and Gaucher diseases, immunologic conditions including hereditary angioedema, and complex neurodevelopmental disorders such as pediatric epilepsy and narcolepsy type 1.
