Assoc. Prof. Dr. Menyang Gong is an Associate Professor at the School of Electronic & Information Engineering, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China. Education:

Dr. Menyang Gong earned his Ph.D. in Science (Acoustics) from the Key Laboratory of Modern Acoustics, Institute of Acoustics, School of Physics at Nanjing University (2018-2024). His doctoral research, supervised by Prof. Xiaozhou Liu, was titled “Research on the non-contact manipulation and structure design based on acoustic radiation force.” He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Acoustics from the same university (2013-2017), where he developed a solid foundation in the field.

Research Interests:

Dr. Gong’s research interests include acoustics, particularly focusing on acoustic radiation forces, non-contact manipulation techniques, and structural design influenced by acoustic principles.

 

Professional Experience:

Since June 2024, Dr. Gong has been serving as an Associate Professor at the School of Electronic & Information Engineering, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. He has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant for General Physics, Nonlinear Acoustics, and Calculation Method courses, working under prominent professors like Prof. Chunlai Ren, Prof. Vitalyi Gusev, and Prof. Xiaozhou Liu. Additionally, he served as an editor for Research and Review on Education at Phoenix Publishing and Media Group from July to October 2018.
