In 2018, Mrs. Rafaella Mendes Zambetta completed a comprehensive traineeship at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Brazil, where she gained hands-on experience in various areas of physical therapy. These included Neurofunctional, Geriatric, Rheumatology, Orthopedic, Cardiorespiratory, Basic Care, Neuropediatric, and Hospital-based Physical Therapy. Her diverse training allowed her to develop a broad skill set in patient care across different specialties, enhancing her expertise in rehabilitation and therapy.

Mrs. Rafaella Mendes Zambetta is a Ph.D. Fellow in Physical Therapy at the Neurological Physical Therapy Laboratory (LaFiN), Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil, where she has been working since 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Thiago Luiz de Russo. She is currently a Visiting Fellow at both the Gordon Center for Medical Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Berenson-Allen Center for Noninvasive Brain Stimulation at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, under the guidance of Prof. Emiliano Santarnecchi (Aug 2023 – Jul 2024). Her work focuses on neuroscience and neuromodulation.
