Prof. Dr. Guido Sireci has been engaged in academia at the University of Palermo since 1985, conducting theoretical and practical exercises in laboratory techniques, molecular biology, and immunology for students in the General Pathology and Genetics courses. From 1987 to 1989, he served as a lecturer in Immunology and General Pathology at the School of Professional Nursing, as well as lecturing in General Pathology at the Physiotherapy School and Chemistry at the Nursing School at Villa Sofia Hospital. He taught Immunopathology at the Faculty of Pharmacy from 1998 to 2000 and covered General Pathophysiology, General Pathology, and Immunology in the Nursing Diploma program in 1999. Since 2002, Dr. Sireci has been a lecturer in Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Caltanissetta, and since 2010, he has taught General Pathology for the Nursing Science degree program at the Policlinico of Palermo.

In 2001, he qualified for the position of Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Catania.
